Is a Forestry Claw the Right Grapple for Your Work?

Choose the Berlon Mini Forestry Claw when you regularly handle:

  • Logs, limbs and cut tree sections
  • Loose brush piles and storm debris
  • Firewood and irregular forestry material
  • Tree-service material that benefits from a wide claw opening

Consider a root grapple instead when: digging, raking roots and separating soil from debris are the primary jobs.

Consider a bucket grapple instead when: carrying loose soil, mulch, gravel or demolition material is more important than handling logs and limbs.

Berlon Mini Forestry Claw FAQ

Will the Berlon Mini Forestry Claw fit my mini skid steer?

Fitment depends on your machine's mounting plate, auxiliary hydraulic connections and operating capacity. Send us the make, model, year, mounting details and ZIP code so we can help verify compatibility before shipment.

What is the Berlon Mini Forestry Claw best used for?

It is best suited for moving logs, limbs, brush piles, storm debris, firewood and irregular forestry material. It is designed for tree service, landscaping, land clearing and property-maintenance work.

How wide does the forestry claw open?

The Berlon Mini Forestry Claw has a 60-inch claw opening.

What is included with the attachment?

The attachment includes a needle valve, hose-saver spring, hydraulic hoses and couplers. It also includes a built-in tree pusher, saw scabbard and two rope bollards.

Yes. The grapple is hydraulically operated and requires a compatible auxiliary hydraulic circuit and coupler setup on the carrier.

It ships directly from the manufacturer by LTL freight. Delivery timing varies by freight zone, destination, product availability and carrier scheduling. Appointment delivery may be required.

Is lift-gate delivery available?
