The Eterra Excavator Sickle Bar Mower is designed for clearing vegetation in hard-to-reach areas, making it ideal for roadsides, ditches, fence lines, and embankments. With a 7-foot, 5-Foot, & 9-Foot cutting width option, it easily handles grass, brush, and saplings up to 2 inches thick. Its excavator-mounted design allows for extended reach in steep or uneven terrain, and the 15-20 GPM flow rate ensures smooth operation.

The 7- foot model is not designed for aquatic use, but if you need a mower for submerged weed cutting, the 5-Foot Excavator Sickle Bar Mower is available. If you need even more cutting length, the 9-Foot Excavator Sickle Bar Mower is also an option.  The 3" x 3" tube mount and Excavator Mounting Adapter provide secure attachment to your excavator’s coupler. A break-away bar protects against impacts, while the non-clogging sickle design ensures reliable performance. Unlike rotary mowers, it cuts cleanly without throwing debris, making it safer for public and residential areas. Simple to operate and low maintenance, the Eterra Excavator Sickle Mower is a dependable tool for land clearing and vegetation control.

Eterra SMB-1000 Blank Mounting Adapter

This adapter provides Eterra Mowers with seamless mounting to your Excavator's coupler. The SMB-1000 is included with purchase.

Note:  Every excavator is different. Many machines (Especially older models) use only two pumps.  One to control your stick and rotation. One for track drive and auxiliary flow (your mower).  For machines that have this type of pump arrangement, it is not possible to drive the machine forward and cut at the same time. You will need to drive forward, stop and then sweep back and forth for cutting. For operators with newer machines like Kubota and any Yanmar, you have three pumps so you can drive and cut at the same time.
