Shipping Policy 

Order Confirmation:

As soon as you place your order, you will receive an order confirmation email. This means that we have received your order in our system and pre-authorized your credit card for the purchase. As soon as we receive your order, we will start our fulfillment process. Construction Tools Direct's primary shipping policy is all orders are processed and shipped within 1-2 business days. Transit times vary from 5-7 business days. If an item is a custom order the shipping time can vary from 2-3 weeks depending on the manufacture.

Order Shipment:

We will send you tracking information within 24 hours of your order leaving the warehouse to the e-mail address you provided when checking out.  If you do not receive tracking information from us within six business days of your order, feel free to follow up with us at support@constructiontoolsdirect.com.

No Shipping outside the USA from our online store checkout. If you would like an item shipped outside the U.S., please contact us at support@constructiontoolsdirect.com and we can discuss the options and additional cost to ship products outside the U.S.

Shipping Options

Our base "Curb-side" Pickup shipping is usually completely free! This option usually takes between 5-7 days to arrive at your doorstep, after you have submitted your order. There are other options available, however. We also offer the below options for some products. Please contact us for more information about these prior to ordering. 

  • Threshold Shipping: This involves the item being brought onto your porch, or into a sheltered/garage area.

Our shipping partners include well-known carriers such as UPS, FedEx, USPS and more... Each package is carefully handled and tracked throughout its journey to ensure your satisfaction with every delivery.

What if my item arrives damaged?

Please inspect the packaging of your item(s) when they arrive, if you notice any damage, you should make note of it when signing for delivery.  If your item(s) arrive damaged please send photos of the damage, box, and SKU, along with a brief description of the damage to support@constructiontoolsdirect.com and we will process an insurance claim on your behalf. Photos and videos must be sent for freight damage within 24 hours of arrival, or the freight damage claim will not be valid. Any punctures or visible signs of exterior damage must be reported within 24 hours. 

How long will it take to receive my order?

How do I return an eligible item?

Request a Return

Contact our Sales Team for prior authorization as returned merchandise must have a SRO (Sales Return Order) number and clearly marked on the exterior of the shipping carton or it will not be accepted.

Before you contact us, you will need the following details:

Sales Order Number

Specific Item(s) you want to return (part # and quantity)

Once authorization is approved, you will be given an SRO number. SRO number MUST be marked on the outside of the package.

Conditions:

All returns must be pre-approved and have a Sales Return Order number (SRO#) from ConstructionToolsDiret.com clearly marked on the exterior of the package or it will be refused. SRO#’s can be obtained by emailing support@constructiontoolsdirect.com

Part returns. Subject to a minimum 25% restocking fee (could be higher if returned in poor condition). Parts must be in original, unopened packaging and part numbers must be clearly marked and grouped together. Part returns must be made within 30 days of the original delivery (customer received) date. Electrical parts like Coil’s , Regulators , ECU’s etc. are NON-returnable.

Power Equipment and Engine returns. Returns for these items must be made within 30 days of the original delivery date (customer received) date, returned in new condition (never gassed, oiled, or engine mounted), and will be subject to a restocking fee. The restocking fee is minimum 25% on these items. (Percentage could be higher depending on returned condition).

Scratch and Dent Engines are sold “As Is” and are non-returnable.

Does Construction Tools Direct provide installation?

NO. But if requested we can assist customer locate an installation provider in their area.

What if I want an item that isn't on the website, but the brand is?

Contact us via email support@constructiontoolsdirect.com with your inquiry. We will contact out manufacture and provide you with a quote and lead time for delivery.

Does Construction Tools Direct only ship in the U.S.?
